Windows 10: Windows Update Failing - error 0x800F0922: Security Update for Windows 10 Version 1909 for...

For a few days now I've been unable to get windows update to get beyond trying to install this.

Windows Version OS Build 18363.1316

Processor IntelR CoreTM i5-3230M CPU @ 2.60GHz, 2601 Mhz, 2 Cores, 4 Logical Processors
BIOS Version/Date American Megatrends Inc. P03ABU.139.130226.SK, 26/02/2013

I've read a few posts and have done the following which hasn't solved it:

DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth

net stop bits
net stop cryptsvc
net stop wuauserv
net stop msiserver
Ren C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution SoftwareDistribution.old
Ren C:\Windows\System32\catroot2 Catroot2.old
net start bits
net start cryptsvc
net start wuauserv
net start msiserver


I'm not sure if my problem is related to the OEM firmware issue mentioned here:

Well just noticed a pretty large one pop up coming in at 914MB, seems it makes some pretty serous updates.

Windows update failing

I found the same error "80072EE2" - I found that it is no use just close antivirus, enable windows update in firewal.É necessary to go into property Computer, Manage, Security Firewall, Add Windows Update there with rules Input and Output .Here I decided so.

 

Windows refuses to update - Error 0x800f0922


Windows won't update, i ran sfc as an Admin in CMD and no issues.

• Adobe is activated on Edge but still doesn't work, could this be related?
