Windows 10: Windows update freezes.

Hello everyone. I just reinstall my system and I install windows 10 (1809) During the automatic update (to 1909) my computer just freezes. I can't even restart it because it freezes during the loading. All I can do is to run troubleshooting options and run in safe mode. The problem is that I just reinstall the computer because of this same problem. Is there a way to fix it please or do I need to clean install the 1909 version. For now I just reinstall the 1809 version and pause updates but it will restart soon. Thanks in advance.

had the same problem, freezes and long installation including each step loading, in my case a bios update helped.

If your Windows 10 freezes while updating, it could be due to corrupted or incompatible drivers or system files, or third-party application conflicts. We suggest you to run the
Windows Update troubleshooter, and check if it helps. Here are the steps:

• Type Control Panel in the Search bar, and press
  Enter on the keyboard.
• Go to Troubleshooting.
• Click View All.
• Right-click on Windows Update from the list.
• Select Run as Administrator.
• Click Next and follow the prompts to run the troubleshooter.

Hi dalchina. Good news, I followed your suggestion and reinstalled the update and now it appears as "installed correctly" *Biggrin Maybe it was not necessary to run the Windows Update Troubleshooter or maybe if necessary. But using it I do not think it could have worsened something. The installation was very fast, unlike the first time it showed step 1 and step 2 completed.
