Windows 10: Windows Update installed AMD 15DD for my Ryzen 5 2400G-is that right?

Hi!

I have an HP Pavillion 590-p0044, AMD Ryzen 5 2400G with Radeon RX Vega 11 integrated graphics. I did a clean install of Windows 10 last week and had disabled driver updates by running your "Disable_Drivers_In_Windows_Update" file. Yesterday, Windows Update installed AMD-System-1/8/2019 12:00:00 AM-18.41.0.0. Since then, I have not been able to access the Radeon settings by right-clicking on my desktop like I did before and can only access my display options through All Settings, there is no "AMD" program or update listed in the Program and Features list or in the Installed Update list, and the device manager shows the display adapter as AMD 15DD Graphics, driver version 25.20.14016.3003, date 1/15/2019. Is this right? I saw that the latest version of the Radeon driver came out this week and wondered if I should install that one.

Good day! I apologize that you are having this issue and I am hoping we can work through it and fix it.

Please create a backup of the system or a restore point then

Please use DDU to uninstall all drivers you have now installed:

This will clean out everything you've done so far.

After that, you simply need the driver here:

This is all you need. If it still does not display, then I would suspect a hardware issue if it suddenly started to have this issue without you changing anything.

Or you can just go back to standard windows drivers if you wish with the automatic driver installation.

Hi,

I am facing problems with the Display Adapters since I updated it form the stock windows drivers. I have tried the drivers Microsoft, AMD and ASUS(My Motherboard Manufacturer) but still all of them fail to display anything but a blank screen after installing
them. I had to boot into the recovery mode to get the PC working again. Please help me!

Well, Thank you very much for advice but after trying even this I don’t have video output with neighter Windows given Vega drivers, nor with the AMD ones.The issue might not be the hardware as the System works fine with the Microsoft Drivers. I need the
AMD ones to change the refresh rate and resolution of the display output.
