Windows 10: Windows Update installed Edge. Can I safely Uninstall it?

Hi all


I have Windows 10 Home edition (ver 1909).

In one of the first Windows Updates after I got this laptop,
Microsoft installed the Edge browser on this computer, without asking me, without me choosing anything.

And that was despite the fact that I already installed a nice browser, which I like and use.
(Firefox)







If I goto the Apps and Features setting page,
Edge has its Uninstall button Enabled.

So I can click it, and uninstall it,
the question is If it will stay uninstalled, or will it be again auto-installed by Microsoft, via Windows Update,
without asking me....


Anyone has experience with this?

windows xp installation and dual core am

could someone please list the steps they follow to install windows with a dual core processor and windows xp service pack to. I'm reletively new to amd dual core and i feel i'm missing a step. All help will be appreciated. thanx

 

Windows Updates failed to instal

I just did step one and they have just all installed.... thank you so much.... it was quite frustrating having that update window pop up every 5 minutes and failing to instal every time

How do you uninstall chipset drivers?

I'm installing a new mobo so I need to uninstall the intel 865g drivers to make way for the P35 drivers.

Can't find any uninstall options in add/remove programs and intel chipset inst listed in driver cleaner.

Any suggestions? *Confused
