Windows 10: Windows Update issue

Hi im using an msi gs65 stealth thin 8rf and i updated my computer yesterday and it was working fine until i went to sleep with my laptop off and now my audio doesnt work, the mic does not work the speaker doesnt work and the headphone jack doesnt output audio, any fix to this?

i did the battery reset thing nothing happened

reinstalled drivers, nothing happened

i heard this happen with other msi laptops and im wondering if theres a fix to it. Id REALLY prefer not to have to redownload everything that would take a really really long time with my slow wifi.

Definitely not an issue with the Windows Servers as I just re-installed yesterday and got all my updates.

It works, but I still need to fix it so that way I dont have to plug computers directly to the modem to get windows update to work. It was also blocking me from installing directx.

If your wireless router has a built in firewall maybe it's somehow set to block the ports that Windows updates use?

I'd also suggest if it works with it being directly connected then you could try resetting your router to see if this fixes the issue.
