Windows Update KB4093112 error code 0x80070011

Hi, I've been having issues with Windows Update KB4093112 with error code 0x80070011. Other updates have installed successfully since then, but this update reaches 18% and then continually fails. I am running Windows 10 Pro (64-bit) version 1709 on a Thinkpad T530. My OS runs from a SSD but I changed the default save drive to a HDD shortly after doing a clean install of Windows (which may matter for certain issues below). I have taken the following steps, in this order, to try to fix the issue:

Running the "fix Windows update" program

Using elevated cmd to run sfc /scannow

    Using elevated cmd to run Dism.exe /online /Cleanup-Image /StartComponentCleanup

Deleting the Download folder in the SoftwareDistribution file

Using WUMT to run the update

Using this .bat file to reset Windows Update

Installing and running both the Delta and Cumulative versions of KB4093112 manually

None of these worked, so I tried reinstalling Windows with the Media Creation tool intending to pick the "keep everything" option so I wouldn't lose my files or apps, but when I got to the point where I could choose what to keep, every option but "nothing" was greyed out. Below was written "You can’t keep Windows settings, personal files, and apps because your current version of Windows might be installed in an unsupported directory." This might be because I have a Japanese keyboard installed as well as English, but I when looking into it found out that I don't have the latest version of Windows (1803), and, judging that to be the most likely culprit, I tried using the Windows 10 Update Assistant to update to version 1803, but it failed with error code 0xc1900204.

I am now out of ideas. What can I do to solve this issue?

    :)

    WindowsUpdate error 0x80070011 - Windows 10

I Got an update error with 0x80070011 code, because my
    C:\ProgramData is a directory junction to D:\ProgramData
that I have made with "mklink /J".

In order to do upgrades i have copied D:\ProgramData to C:\ProgramData (in a real directory) and my updates work now !

WTF! Vista update error code 80070002

Can you please tell me the error code you receive when you get the update failed message? If it is 80070002 or anything like that, follow these steps:

Well, first of all let me just say that I am not a computer professional. However, I have had the same problem with my 32-Bit Windows Vista Home Premium (making Microsoft's statement null and void) and I have solved it! Here are the step by step instructions:

    1) Go to the Start Menu.

    2) Click on Computer.

    3) Open up the drive where windows is installed (usually your C drive).

    4) Open the Windows Folder.

    5) Scroll down a bit and locate the SoftwareDistribution folder (exactly like that).

    6) Open the Download folder.

    7) Open the Install folder.

    8) There sould only be one file there. Right click on it and select "Run as Administrator".

    9) After entering an Administrator password, run the installation, using the default values and clicking yes at the license.

    10) After the installation is complete (shouldn't take more than a few minutes), restart your computer (as an added precaution, though not necessary).

    11) After the computer restarts again, run Windows Update again. It should run as normal. All fixed!

    I apologize for Microsoft's ineptitude.

    This worked for me guys...
