    Windows update KB4517389


    Windows update KB4517389 has "Successfully Installed" 9 times since Oct 8. Why does it continue to download and install when it says it has been installed successfully? I have Windows 10 Pro on a Toshiba laptop and use MS Edge.

    Hi dalchina. Good news, I followed your suggestion and reinstalled the update and now it appears as "installed correctly" *Biggrin Maybe it was not necessary to run the Windows Update Troubleshooter or maybe if necessary. But using it I do not think it could have worsened something. The installation was very fast, unlike the first time it showed step 1 and step 2 completed.

    Windows 10 update KB4517389 install error

    The latest Windows 10 update KB4517389 fails to install. I get the following

    2019-10 Cumulative Update for Windows 10 Version 1903 for x64-based Systems (KB4517389)

    Last failed install attempt on ‎10/‎8/‎2019 - 0xd0000034

    I have tried running the update multiple times. I am a novice computer user. What do I need to do to correct this?
