  1. Windows update KB4578968 kills Bluetooth

I have been struggling with error code "bad image" and bluetooth not working since the windows update was auto installed.

I fixed them both eventually with help from the community. Bluetooth I fixed by uninstalling the update. I foolishly allowed the update to be auto installed and yesterday it happened again.

All the indicators show Bluetooth drivers are installed, the mouse and other products appear in the list of devices but are not connected. New devices cannot be found either.

Can I permanently block this upgrade or is there another solution ??

    :)

5 BSOD when trying to update KB4579311 and KB4578968 (Windows)

    Hello

    • 2004 - 19041.572
    • Windows 10 Pro
    • 64 bit
    • KB4579311 and KB4578968
    • BSOD: Data Structure Corruption Memory, Memory Management, Irql not less or equal

I've come to realise tonight that there was Windows update so i decided to them (update when shutting off). My pc suddenly had a blue screen which was Data Structure Corruption Memory while updating. Into another 3 BSOD which is Memory management into Irql
    not less equal.

Everytime i logged in my pc had memory management BSOD. So i decided to shut the pc and sleep.

This morning started up the pc, no BSOD. I saw that KB4579311 update was installed but KB4578968 was not installed. KB4578968 Is related to memory security update, what should i do right now? So i think it's normal to have memory management BSOD since the
update is related to it. Probably something went wrong when trying to update it..

Should i dig to search for the problem or just leave it as it is? The reason i'm telling to leave it as it is, is that the problem might be resolved on it's own.

    Cheers

    Bluetooth in windows 10

My computer specs are as listed in the profile. I think all of you guys are correct. I don't have built-in Bluetooth in mobo.

I contacted skull candy headphones and thy have told me if I do not have built-in Bluetooth, I would need a dongle which supports at least a2dp. I do not know what the heck that means. I have a feeling I would need more than a cheap dongle.

Anyone suggest some a2dp adapters. I searched but don't know what a2dp is so couldn't make a decision
