Windows 10: Windows Update Logs are not generated properly for Windows 10 build 1607

Discus and support Windows Update Logs are not generated properly for Windows 10 build 1607 in Windows 10 Installation and Upgrade to solve the problem; I am trying to get the Windows Update logs on a System with Windows Server 2016 and Windows 10 build 1607 using powershell commandlet...     Windows Update Logs are not generated properly for Windows 10 build 1607


    I am trying to get the Windows Update logs on a System with Windows Server 2016 and Windows 10 build 1607 using powershell commandlet Get-WindowsUpdateLog. However, the output that I get, has random guids as below:

    I connected the system to internet to update the SymCache. After connecting to the internet, few guids were resolved. However, most of the log is still unreadable.


    Is there a way to resolve the entire update log without internet connection?

    The size of my current SymCache folder is around 18 MB. What is the expected size of this folder?

    Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

    Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

    • Open a new Explorer window.
    • Click View in the ribbon.
    • Click Options.
    • Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
    • Click OK

    • USB driver for Android phone is not detected by Windows 10 1607 build . How to fix it ? It worked properly on 1511 build.
