    Windows Update needs File AVIRA ANTIVIR manually uninstalled to complete updates but I can't find the pgm or app.


    I believe this was at one time if not still associated with AVG software or maybe another antivirus software. AVG Free I have running and AVG PC Tuneup. I am not running AVG Internet as it was not compatible with several things.


    I do not know what Windows updates did not get completed or if I need them still. But I cannot proceed until this app I cannot find is uninstalled. Any suggestions?

    Windows 10 Pro., Updates will not download because; "Avira AntiVir", can not be Uninstalled; Why? How can I Uninstall this software: Avira AntiVir

    Windows 10 Pro Updates, will not completely download because; I can not Uninstall: "Avira AntiVir".

    It does not show up in the Programs & Features, or the list of Programs, in Uninstall a Program. I even requested help form the Microsoft Disability Answer Desk, and they could not help. There only suggestion was to do a Clean Download of the Updates, which
    would delete all my Files and Downloads, currently saved on my PC. Is there any one out there who can give me instructions as to how to Uninstall the Software Program: "Avira AntiVir" ? Thank You; JC

    I am trying to update Windows 10. I get a message that I need to manually uninstall "Avira Anti Vir". I have searched everywhere and cannot find this file. Any suggestions on where to look?

    I cannot upgrade my computer with Windows 10 upgrades.

    It says I have to manually delete "Avira AntiVir" and refresh the ugrade.

    Wehre do I find Avira AntiVir too delete it?

    I ran a PC search & it did not show up.
