  1. Windows Update removed settings

    Hello all,

I've just had an overnight windows 10 update to my PC and on restarting, the desktop background is gone, theme has changed, Edge has been reinstalled and set to default and many other minor changes have been made.

Is there any simple way to revert all changes made by the update back to how they were before? Will rolling back the update restore them? Is there a way to prevent this from happening again?

    Cheers.

    :)

To turn off windows updates in windows 7 follow these steps:

Click the start button, in the search box type in 'windows updates', click on 'windows update'
in the search results list, in the left side of the windows update window click 'change settings'
then in the option bar select 'Never check for updates'.

I suggest you backup your personalized files first before removing the account.
To delete an account, follow these steps:
    1. Press WIN + X keys and click Command Prompt (Admin) from the menu.
    2. Type the following command and press Enter. Replace test with the name of your sister's account. Code:

That's what the auto setting will do since you're over the 1333 mark it jumps to the next step which isn't listed or officially supported I assume by that ram.

At this point though I would suggest dropping the multi one step or .5 so that we can get something stable and possibly take the heat issue out of the picture for now.
