    Windows Update (September 2019)


    Hello,


    I have twice tried to update Windows with the latest support edition and twice it has run all night and jammed at 66%.


    I left it a further 4 hours to try and sort it self out but in the end I had to close my computer, physically.


    On re start it said " Undoing changes made to your computer)


    Has anyone else had this problem and is there an easy fix please

    Only supported on Win10. Sorry, 8.1 users, only 4 years old, gotta go.

Today we’re pleased to share the following updates:

    • Office 2019 will ship in H2 of 2018. Previews of the new apps and servers will start shipping in the second quarter of 2018.
    • Office 2019 apps will be supported on:
      • Any supported Windows 10 SAC release
      • Windows 10 Enterprise LTSC 2018
      • The next LTSC release of Windows Server
    • The Office 2019 client apps will be released with Click-to-Run installation technology only. We will not provide MSI as a deployment methodology for Office 2019 clients. We will continue to provide MSI for Office Server products.

    Windows Updated(16299.309).KB4088776 Restart is required to complete.


    Hi dalchina. Good news, I followed your suggestion and reinstalled the update and now it appears as "installed correctly" *Biggrin Maybe it was not necessary to run the Windows Update Troubleshooter or maybe if necessary. But using it I do not think it could have worsened something. The installation was very fast, unlike the first time it showed step 1 and step 2 completed.
