Windows 10: Windows Update service - Error 0x803C0103

Hi,

For some time, my PC has not been receiving regular Microsoft updates. I've been through the Windows Update troubleshooter and have tried everything, to no avail.

I'm in Windows 10 Home v1709 and have tried all of the below:

• Windows Update Reset tool which includes-
• sfc/ scannow
• DISM tool
• CHDSK
• Checked device manager
• Disconnected external devices hard drive & printer

I'm wondering if I'm now at the stage of having to re-install Windows?


Can someone please advise?

Error 0x803C0103 when troubleshooting

My last update was 1703 haven't been able to get any other updates. I get error code 0x800704cf tried using troubleshooter got error code 0x803c0103 not sure what to do next

WIndows Update Errors 0x803c0103 and 0x800b0109

Windows update troubleshooter is itself giving this error 0x803C0103.
