Windows 10: Windows update stuck at 48%

My computer won’t update. Every time it tries, it gets to 48% then freezes. It then reverts back to the previous version. I used to get stuck at 44% see link below.


Error: 0xC1900101-0x30018 Installation failed in theFIRST_BOOT phase with an error during SYSPREP_SPECIALIZE operation.


Computer: Alienware 15 R3

Edition: Home Pro

Current version: 1803, OS build 17134.1304

Please READ THIS before answering I have already done the basics, need someone who know how to read and troubleshoot logs LIKE THIS


Please let me know if anything else is needed to help diagnose my problem! I keep ignoring the update but it has been trying to install for months. Thank you all.

Win10: windows update stuck at never ending loop ?

When in win10:

• Update&security -> Windows update -> Finding update... .... .... ....

Planning to download the latest Win10.ISO (vers.1803) and manually update:
- Then wait that my ordered new SSD arrives and clone the old HDD to it.

 

Windows 10 - Stuck on 48%

I bought my son a PC and was installing the updates last night, He's currently got a SSD card and a HDD card, I'm trying to install windows ten onto the SSD card, (Upgrading from windows 7) But it's been stuck on 48% - Copying Files - Installing Drivers
and Features - Configuring Settings. Any ideas?

Windows 10 1607 latest update download stuck at 48%.

I have a problem downloading the latest updates for windows 10 1607 on this pc. It has been stuck at 48% for nearly two hours.

Please let me know what can be done about it. Thanks.
