Windows 10: Windows Update - Stuck in BIOS, Write Access is Denied

Hi AllI have had 2 computers go through a forced update which reset them both and left them in a BIOS loop.It states that it can see the SSD but doesn't see any bootable devices.I updated the BIOS of the motherboard TUF GAMING X570 PRO WIFI, no fix.I used the microsoft tool to create a bootable USB which i could then troubleshoot.Tried going through a bunch of things to find a solution:Install now - can't write to disk because I have no accessRepair nowiskpart + bcdboot - had issues because of write accessCHKDSK C: /r - had issues because volume is write protectedCreating a registry key

Access denied when attempting to write to eSATA drive after updating Windows 10 Enterprise

I appreciate the efforts taken by you to work on this issue. I understand that after updating Windows 10 Enterprise, you receive
Access Denied error when you try to write to an eSATA drive.



As you have tried to change the owner to Administrator groups, I would suggest you to try changing the owner to your account and see if that makes a difference.



You may also want to refer the steps mentioned below and see if that helps:

1. Type command prompt in the search bar on the Taskbar.
   
2. Right click on command prompt icon and select Run as administrator.
   
3. Now, paste the following command and hit Enter:
   takeown /f <drive_name> \ /R /D Y

• Are you getting any error messages when checking for updates?

• Confirm the most recent KB update that your computer is trying to install. To check, refer to the steps below:

• Press Windows key + I, then select Update & Security.
• Go to Windows Update, select View installed update history.

Meanwhile, the issue might also occur due to corruption in Windows Update component files. We suggest that you perform the steps in this
article.

Also, try to perform the steps below to troubleshoot the "Access Denied" error:

• Press Windows key + E to open File Explorer.
• Copy the files that you want to zip.
• Paste it in the Downloads folder.
• From there, zip your file. You may follow the steps provided in this
  article.

access BIOS settings in Win 10

I have an 8-year old computer running Win 10. I need to access the BIOS settings. It used to be the holding down the F2 key during startup would bring up the BIOS screen in Windows computers. But this no longer works. A web article listed a complicated
series of steps leading to a reboot . . . but still no access to BIOS. Any suggestions?
