Windows 10: Windows Update trying to install drivers for old hardware that was removed from computer

I simply don't understand why this happens, I replaced an RX580 with an RTX 2060, all good, uninstalled the AMD drivers of the RX580 and installed the new nVidia ones, still after 2 days I found out not 1 but 2 drivers downloaded by windows update for the AMD RX580???. I deleted them from DriverRepository and now they are back a few days later, and I am also prompted to update to a new version of them.

I've searched and the solution is to hide the updates, but I need to understand also why this happens, if the component is no longer in the PC, why windows update provides updates for it?

If you having an issue installing a driver that worked before you formatted or wont install on a fresh build, sometimes this means hardware damage

i dont think anyone here understands what your asking either when its nearly a 90% english dominated Tech forum.
Step 1
reinstall windows from scratch
Step 2
install all drivers from the cd that came with the god damn motherboard *common sense*
Step 3
update windows
Step 4
install misc etc crap like flash java etc etc
Step 5
Install GPU drivers
Step 6
go back to using your pc without issue.

Allright, Thanks! Gonna reboot now and try and see if that annoyance shows up, although I don't have install drivers when I connect device set on windows update on hardware properties, it STILL insists on installing its own! Lmao... Brb gonna try out your suggestion! Thnx man
