Windows 10: Windows update Ver 19.03 build OS 18362.230

Updated automatically to Ver 19.03 on August 8, 2019. update seem to function well except that I notice Microsoft office programs seem to become unresponsive when you try to print. Problem escalated to the point where Microsoft Word and/or Excel would hang up if you attempted to use the PRINT function under FILE. the list of available printers would take as much as five or 10 minutes to appear in the window. This would happen every time you try to use the print function. Printing from Notepad works fine as does printing from Adobe. Microsoft office programs also print the quick print button.

Try to update HP printers and found that HP scan doctor Would also take forever locate the printers. I have reloaded Microsoft Office twice and reinstalled Windows version 19.03 and neither of these operations fix the problem. Have created new user account and this did not work either.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

USB printer disappears with W10 build 18362

I updated my PC to Build 18362 and my Laserjet 2200D printer on a USB connection disappeared and I can't add it back in as its not discoverable. I updated another PC to the same build and it doesn't work on that either. I tried the pinter and cable on
a laptop and it works OK. I've gone through the HP process of adding in the printer drivers and then switching on the printer and it still can't be discovered. Its an old printer, about 12 years old, but I think it should still work. Any suggestions?
