Windows 10: Windows update version 2004

Hi All . Finally been offered to upgrade via Windows update. Currently have version 1909 on Windows 10 S mode. See quite a few have had problems with this upgrade - should I go ahead ? Any known problems I may encounter and need to be aware of ? Many thanks - keep safe.

That is a flat out lie, and you know it. MS themselves recommend to NOT force it. This one example from MS. Their words, not mine.

To safeguard your update experience, we have applied a compatibility hold on Windows 10 devices with affected drivers or firmware from being offered Windows 10, version 2004.


Affected platforms:

• Client: Windows 10, version 2004

Next steps: Microsoft and Intel are working on a resolution and will provide an update in an upcoming release.
