  1. Windows Update won't work

    I've got this issue for about 5-6 Months now;

    Windows Update wont work - And If I don't deactivate the task, it will even use up 30-60% of my CPU the entire time the PC is on. Most of the time its about 30% for "Windows Update" inside of "Service Host Local System".

    Whenever I try to run the update manually it immediately shows the error: "0x80080008"

    After taskkilling it via CMD it doesn't immediately show up with an error... it will just run and run and run findig absolutely nothing. If I run the prognostic Tool für Windows Update issues it ... will just run and run and run as well.

    Since today I got the notification, that a crucial System Update is missing in the taskbar in between the Icons on the right; but I can't download it.

    Anyone knows what could cause the issue?

    Thanks!

    :)

    Windows updates won't install!

    I had the same problem when i repaired my O/S, i forgot the steps on how to fixed it, but it is in the microsoft support forum.

    You have to reinstall the windows updater, then restart the updating service.
