Windows 10: Windows Update

Can't get computer to update,tried everything.Can I download latest update manually and try that,if so where do I get update?

I haven't been able to install Windows 10 due to the following error: C1900101-20017. Any idea what this is and does it mean I'm out of luck?

I haven't run the ISO disk as of yet, I want the current product key in hand, on a post it note, prior to doing that, not interested in MS bullS**T about it not being needed. 2 hours online with tech support and they can't cope with the question of how
can the current product key be accessed in windows 10.

I've never owned a Apple product, but I can never see buying or having another MS product in my household after this.

Yes no luck,can't connect to update service. Windows Denfender updates OK

Manual update at file worked,computer all updated. Still will not connect to update service for auto updates.Another think I just found was it will not let you add another user account. Was thinking adding another user account as a admin would let me update.I tried many different batch files and update resets with no luck. I'm thinking the only way is a complete new install,it just so much work. Just don't know way all the resets failed,thinking I'm at the end of the rope on this,hate not being able to fix. Something is up by the computer not letting me add another local user account,maybe by the user account problem someone will have another idea for this.

 

You should be able to repair your Windows 10 , without losing any of your personal files. Read this tutorial
