Windows 10: Windows Updates BSOD

Only recent have I had BSOD.



Coinciding with Windows Updates.

CRITICAL_PROCESS_DIED


I have run antivirus scan, clean.

Also, chkdsk, no bad sectors.

and, wmic, OK

and, Crystal Disk, Good, all.

Updated all drivers, including BIOS.


Ran Malwarebytes fix for BSOD with Windows,

no BSOD for a short while.


A couple days later, when turning off, Update and Shutdown.


Next morning, this morning, BSOD is back.

Read where you would like to receive a copy of dumps.


Went to my OneDrive on computer, I have no Upload Icon as described.


Have file full of dumps and etc. zipped and ready.


P.S. the file dump found in C:Window\minidump is from Nov 7th.

this is Nov. 12th. Where today's dump is I do not know.

Windows Update (BSOD)

Hi Guys.
I have Built a Machine for Crunching a few days ago and I have some issues with Windows Update.

I have installed all Windows Updates but there are around 9 left without been installed becasue everytime i try to install it the Machine Crash and I get a BSOD, can someone tell me what could be causing that Windows Updates makes a Machine crash and get BSOD?

This is the report that I got with Blue screen viewer: Value is Driver IRQL Not Less or Equal.

Note: the Machine it's performing great but if i dare to touch the update option BSOD is ready waiting for me*Big Grin

Hi dalchina. Good news, I followed your suggestion and reinstalled the update and now it appears as "installed correctly" *Biggrin Maybe it was not necessary to run the Windows Update Troubleshooter or maybe if necessary. But using it I do not think it could have worsened something. The installation was very fast, unlike the first time it showed step 1 and step 2 completed.
