Windows 10: Windows Update's KB4551762 and KB4541335 Won't Install - Error 0x80070026 on both

Discus and support Windows Update's KB4551762 and KB4541335 Won't Install - Error 0x80070026 on both in Windows 10 Installation and Upgrade to solve the problem; I've been trying to install these 2 updates for a couple of weeks now with the same error 0x80070026.     Windows Update's KB4551762 and KB4541335 Won't Install - Error 0x80070026 on both


    I've been trying to install these 2 updates for a couple of weeks now with the same error 0x80070026. I've gone through all the troubleshooting steps with no success. I appreciate any advise.....I'm getting close to doing a reset but don't really want to unless needed.

    If the issue is still persisting, you can do a repair install of Windows 10 without affecting your files and apps:

    1. Download and create your Windows 10 ISO by following the steps in this link:

    2. Locate and right-click the ISO file, then click "Mount".

    3. Go to File Explorer and open the virtual drive where the ISO is mounted. It's usually labeled "ESD-ISO".

    4. Open setup.exe and follow the on-screen steps.

    This repair process might take a while. Once it's completed, try installing the said updates again.
