Hello, Microsoft community. I'm here to request assistance regarding my current predicament. For context, my laptop was performing Windows UpdateUpdate and restart option was selected. Due to the power outage, my laptop shut down forcibly, interrupting the process. Upon rebooting, I saw a text telling me that updates were reverted. However, the start menu has stopped working. System application e.g. settings, search, control panel, etc produced an error message.Example Title: C:\Users\User\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows\WinX\Group2\4 - Control Panel.lnkDescription: "This file does not have

    Hi Adithyaram,

I understand your concern regarding the issue that you are facing.

I suggest you to follow the steps bellow and check if it helps

    Method 1: Hardware Troubleshoot

Windows 10 has a built-in troubleshooter to check and fix issues with power. I would suggest you to run this troubleshooter to check if the issue is with your Power.
