    Windows users


    My neighbour has a PC running Win 10. She is not an administrator but needs to be one to allow downloads eg PDF reader. As she is not an admin she cannot make herself an admin, neither can she create another user with admin priviligies. Rock and a hard place comes to mind - anybody got a clue to this?

    The other reason I suggested this is that users can add characters to their username that are not alphanumeric (e.g. user*). This confuses things somewhat when looking at the list.
