    Windows will not print documents in color


    All of a sudden my printer won't print in color. The printer itself, when running a test prints in color. When I send a color document to the printer from my PC it will not print in color. Also when I go to printer properties there is no place to select color. The options are draft, normal, best. None of those will print in color from my computer.

    Color printing

    I would suggest the following steps:

    In Word, click on "File" - "Options".

    Click on "Display" - Select the box which says "Print background colors and images".

    Click Ok to save the settings and then try to print.

    printing documents in grayscale instead of color

    IF this is your printer ( I do not have your make/model of printer ), its on-line user manual says:

    10 Select a Color option:

    • To print a color document or photo, select the Color setting.
    • To print text and graphics in black or shades of gray, select the Black/Grayscale setting.

    If the documents are in color and your printer will print in color you should be able.
