Windows 10: Windows won't activate

I bought windows disc from the company Newegg about a year ago


A couple days ago I did a wipe of my pc and had too reinstall windows ten


At the time I couldn't find my product key

Now I found my product key, but I can't activate my windows


I click on change product key and enter my product key, but I keep getting the error 0xc004f050


I bought windows and I still have the email receipt from Newegg


Im not sure what to do.

cortana won`t talk to me

• Check and verify if Cortana is activated?
• Does Cortana search and gives any output/result on screen?
• Is the Language and region settings set to valid value?
• Check and verify if Cortana available in your region?

Method 1:

I suggest you to try to turn Cortana off and then try turning it on back and check if she talks. Refer to the steps below to turn Off and On Cortana:

• Open Cortana.
• Click the hamburger button in the top left of the window.
• Go to Settings and click on off.
• Follow the same steps to turn it on.
• Check if issue persists.
