Windows 10: Windows won't allow me to upgrade

Hello,


Currently brand new computer, came with Windows 10 Home 32 bit installed. I wanted to upgrade it to 64 bit since I have the license key for the program and I also checked several times that indeed this is a 64bit capable build.


I can only find https://www.microsoft.com/en-gb/software-download/windows10 this method, but lo and behold I get error message every time it finishes downloading. I get the error message when I select "upgrade this device", I get the error message when I want to just download the ISO, I get the error message when I want to set-up a USB-drive to boot the system with.

I look around and suggestions all over the place say that I should seek to update to the latest version before trying anything else. Go to update manager, hit search for updates and install and...

Since it's brand new with nothing in it, I just reboot everything, hit reformat, start anew. Installs Windows 10 32bit, but I still have hopes and look for the update. Same errors, three times. Doesn't matter if I reboot or reinstall or reformat with and/or without keeping anything. It just doesn't let me update no matter what, and because the computer doesn't come with a DVD reader I can't reboot and have it start from the CD I got from my Windows 10 purchase.


What do I do?

My GTX 980ti won`t let me upgrade to Windows 10?

Still says my Nvidia GTX 980Ti won`t work with Windows 10, so I can`t upgrade!!
