Windows 10: Windows won't install on SSD?

Discus and support Windows won't install on SSD? in Windows 10 Ask Insider to solve the problem; I've upgraded my computer enough to where a fresh install is needed and now I cannot get my windows to install on my new boot drive which is a 256gb...     Windows won't install on SSD?


    I've upgraded my computer enough to where a fresh install is needed and now I cannot get my windows to install on my new boot drive which is a 256gb Gigabyte m.2ssd. It was formatted on my old system and I went through the disk manager in the command prompt to get it off of GPT so it would be able to install. Now I'm getting an error stating

    "We couldn't install Windows in the location you chose please check your media drive here's more info about what happened: 0 x 8 0 3 0 0 0 2 4."

    I'm in the home stretch of getting my new system (r5 3600x, 32gb ddr4 3200mhz, 1060 6gb, X570 Aorus Elite) up and running so I can begin to play games with my friends once again yet my system is being a pain in the butt with the windows install. Please help!

    could someone please list the steps they follow to install windows with a dual core processor and windows xp service pack to. I'm reletively new to amd dual core and i feel i'm missing a step. All help will be appreciated. thanx
