Windows 10: Windows won't let me update

I recently purchased an external SSD and was hoping to install the latest Windows 10 updates on my PC. When I try to do this, however, it says: "Updates are available, but we temporarily need some space to download. Remove some things you don't need right now and we'll try again."


Notes:

• I'm trying to install it on the hard drive the laptop came with doesn't have a lot of space only 29.1 GB
• I thought windows could update when I bought the SSD because, in the update assistant, it says to get an external drive with at least 11 GB of storage.

Maybe I Install a Windows 7 again, At least, all of my games run smoothly ...Sadness!!

Windows updates won't install!

I had the same problem when i repaired my O/S, i forgot the steps on how to fixed it, but it is in the microsoft support forum.

You have to reinstall the windows updater, then restart the updating service.

Applications won`t maximize

Following a W10 update, applications only open as minimised on the taskbar and won`t maximize. I have tried closing them minimised but no good. Can anyone help ? thanks
