Windows 10: Windows wont update

I was wondering if anyone can help me with this issue of windows 10 not updating. About 2 years ago my laptop updated and after the update, I could use a mouse with my laptop. trying to fix this issue because I needed to use aa mouse for my work, I came across a video that instructed me to delete the update and go back to a previous version i don't remember how I did it. Since then the mouse kind of works on my laptop but the scroll wheel doesn't work on some applications and windows haven't been able to update since. it downloads all the necessary files which takes an extremely long time but when it gets to the end of the update it crashes and has to go back to the previous version of windows. I am currently on windows 10 home 1709


I have tried:

• using the troubleshooter to find the issue
• using windows update assistant
• I have also tried running a scan through command prompt to see if any files are missing or have been corrupted
• I have tried other methods however don't remember at this current moment in time

If you having an issue installing a driver that worked before you formatted or wont install on a fresh build, sometimes this means hardware damage

Have you tried the second step?

(Searching for the error message e.g.

windows update database corrupt

is also a useful approach- e.g. finds

- where the next step is the one I suggested above).

 

Windows 7 wont install drivers

i dont think anyone here understands what your asking either when its nearly a 90% english dominated Tech forum.
Step 1
reinstall windows from scratch
Step 2
install all drivers from the cd that came with the god damn motherboard *common sense*
Step 3
update windows
Step 4
install misc etc crap like flash java etc etc
Step 5
Install GPU drivers
Step 6
go back to using your pc without issue.
