I got a notification on my laptop in the updater that my windows 10 1809 is now ready to update to 1903. Then I proceed to update my windows it takes around three hours to complete the download with installation.

After it finshed I get the usal restart option to finish the installation with configuring it.

The configuration starts, but after it gets to 48% it apprubtly stops with a small window popping up telling me about an hardware issue and shuts down the laptop.

After starting the laptop up again it first has to "undo all changes" before windows loads up to its prior state before i tried to update.

Uppon trying to install it again with the creation tool I got the error code 0xC1900101 - 0x30018 , which supposedly has to do with external hardware being connected to the device and a driver not responding during installation.

I already tried several supposed fixes:

-disconnected all external hardware (even my USB mouse)

-installed the newest drivers with dirver booster

-checked in the "device manger" for any devices possibly causing issues

-checked if I had any AMD driver (had none)

-run a search in powershell admin with chkdsk/f c:

    - triedFlushing software distribution and catroot2

-disabled my free avast during installation

All to no avail. My question now is if anyone knows a possible solution or if the current 1903 that was handed out will get a patch. Because right now the installation is unbearable to go through and I dont understand why anyone would issue out an update that cant be installed due to older drivers, hardware etc.

    :)

DTS supported natively by Windows 8/8.1 and it should work on windows 10 too just DDL require to unlock your driver .
