    Windows10 - Can't connect to ad-hoc network


    Hi,


    I created a network using an ad-hoc communication on a computer with Windows 7 in order to do some wireless printing (the buildings networks firewall would not allow the normal wifi connection to work).
    The printer can log into that network and the computer from which I create the network can connect to it.
    However, when an other person with a Windows 10 tries to log into this network the following message appears "Can't connect to this network".

    The network doesn't have a password.


    How can I get his computer to connect to my network?

    WiFi ad hoc problem

    I'm creating an ad hoc network to connect my desktop (running Windows 7) with a friend laptop (running XP). So I set the network and in the wireless networks list of the laptop it appear with signal strength "Excellent" but once it connect to the network the signal strength drops to "Very Low". Any ideas where the problem may be? Thank you in advance.

    Connect to an ad hoc network

    Hi

    I have a navigation device (for sea navigation, not web navigationWindows10 - Can't connect to ad-hoc network :) and it uses an ad hoc wifi connection.

    Please how could I connect my W10 to this device? I have already read how to create an ad hoc wifi network using W10, but in my case I need to connect to a ad hoc network already in place. The devices network does not uses a password.
