Windows 10: Windows10 microphone level adjustment

When connecting a USB device with a microphone, Windows10 let's me adjust the level of this microphone via a slider with values from 0 to 100. What do these values correspond to in actual gain/amplification? Where on the slider is the 0 dB gain point, where Windows will not alter the digital level/amplitude of the audio signal coming from the USB audio device? In my case it seems level 100 is actually amplifying the digital level of the audio coming from my USB device.

I didn't change anything on my computer. My microphone drivers are up to date and i'm not getting any error messages.

ps: I have an Logitech G430 headset

 

Microphone level adjusting automatically

i have a problem with my microphone.

whenever i am playing games and talk with my friends on discord. the level of my microphone adjusts itself automatically.

my sensitiviity of my mic is level 70. that is my perfect level to talk with for me.

soo when i play games or anything at all. the level sets itslef higher and higher.

my brother already tried to help me out but he coudnt help me with it.

i cannot record my games if the sensitivity changes. i really need help because this is really annoying.
