    Hi Team,

    we've done all the troubleshoots to fix the issues but it was not helping at all. We would like to know is there any solution to connect the VPN by connecting to mobile hot spot.

    Mobile HotSpot over VPN to Ethernet connection not possible ?

    Is it possible to select a VPN connection as a target for Mobile HotSpot setting in Windows 10 (1703) ?

    Currently it only offers Network (my default ethernet cable)

    Why such a mess?

    PC is connected via Ethernet to a network, to get Internet access we have to establish a VPN network.

    So any outgoing traffic has to go through the VPN channel.

    WiFi gadget -> WiFi HotSpot -> VPN -> Ethernet Network

    Currently it does something like this

    WiFi gadget -> WiFi HotSpot -> Ethernet Network <- VPN

    Which results in a completely not working network.

    Hi,

    Your Bluetooth connection may be enabled which prevents you from setting up your mobile hotspot. To have this addressed, we suggest turning off the Bluetooth connection and see if you're able to set up your mobile hotspot. Follow these steps:

    • Open Settings and select Devices.
    • Click Bluetooth, then toggle it OFF.

    Once done, check if you can now turn on your computer's mobile hotspot. Let us know how it goes.
