Windows 10: Windows10 Task Scheduler

The scheduler does not recognise hour values greater than 12. ie it cannot use the 24 hour clock.

My application is to run a bat file at 19:00 hours.

The bat file copies "test.txt" to "date_time_test.txt".

When run directly the output correctly includes the time in 24hr format : Tue-04-12_15.54_test.txt.

But when run from the scheduler by command the time format is only in 12 hour format, ie 3.54.

If the scheduler is set to run the file at a given time every day then it will work if that time is <=12 but

not if the set time is greater then 12.

I cannot see any setting in the scheduler that can rectify this problem.

It has to be fixed because I need the scheduler to run two files, one at 7:00 and one at 19:00 !

• Type Task Scheduler on Search bar.
• Click on Task Scheduler Library.
• Select the particular task and right click on it.

Window's Task Scheduler Not Running

Cannot schedule a task with Task Scheduler - error 2147942403

Hi,

I suggest you to check the below settings and check fi it helps.

• In task scheduler, click on the scheduled job properties > then settings.
• In the last listed option: "If the task is already running, the following rule applies:"
• Select "Stop the existing instance" from the drop down list.
• Save and Exit. Then check whether the task is running or not.
