Windows 10: (Windwos + Shift + S) opening but not working

after I press Windows Shift S, the program works and auto highlights what my mouse clicks, and after I let go it just disappears (like it's supposed to) problem is, it's not saving anything, I usually get a notification to save the file but now I'm not even getting that, it just disappears.

I've already searched google, checked multiple forums, tried multiple methods, but for no good.

I tried updating, installing Notebook, Checking multiple settings... etc

it use to work just fine, not sure what changed it though?

Intel Speed Shift Technology Skylake

You just need a Skylake CPU and ThrottleStop, once turned on speed shift you can exit the software as unclewebb said above.

 

Mail app will not open on 10041.

This is the suggested solution below if you haven't already tried it.

In this Windows 10 build 10041, the Mail, Calendar, and People apps may be broken due to a licensing issue with the Store Beta. To get these apps working again, you need to follow these steps:

• Open powershell as administrator
• Run the command Get-appxprovisionedpackage –online | where-object {$_.packagename –like “*windowscommunicationsapps*”} | remove-appxprovisionedpackage –online
• Re-install Mail, People and Calendar from the Store (green tile)

The tutorials provided are just a list of troubleshooting steps. Use only the steps which apply to you.

Since none of the troubleshooting steps here worked, I'd suggest you do a Clean install.
