Windows 10: winver after upgrade

What does it mean if under your licensed name in winver it also says Mictosoft?
I upgraded from 8.1 Pro to 10 Pro using the Microsoft tool since I got tired of waiting for my reservation. After running a day or 2 fully activated I did a clean install and now it lists Microsoft under my name also.

On my windows 10586.3 Laptop it says "Licensed to Microsoft" in WINVER, Why?

It is the license agreement which is agreed by users that they use Microsoft product. For more information I suggest you to follow the below steps and check if it helps.

• 
  Press “Windows+R”.
  
• 
  Type “winver”.
  
• 
  You will get the pop up screen about the Windows 10 license, there I suggest you to click on
  “Microsoft software license terms” and go through the policy terms and check.

How to know if you can transfer your Windows 10 license to a new - Microsoft Community

if this is true then it just means your W10 license is transferable.

 

Do a clean install, make the first account on the PC a Microsoft User Account and when it activates, winver will indicate the Windows 10 is licensed to that user.

Do a clean install, make the first account on the PC a local account and when it activates, winver will indicate the Windows 10 is licensed to that username. I clean installed on a desktop and the first account I created was a local account with username Kodi because that was the account I was going to run Kodi - the multimedia program from. So now my winver says Windows 10 is licensed to Kodi. Dang, did I just transfer my Windows 10 license to the creators of Kodi?

"Licensed to" on a clean install will simply point to the first account created on the computer and means, pretty much, nothing.
