  1. Wireless Adapter Range

    Hello again.

I had recently stumbled upon a quite unfortunate problem with my Laptop's Wireless Adapter. My laptop kept disconnecting from the network. Recently I discovered why that is. When I move close to the Wifi Router, the network does not disconnect, however, moving away from it ensues the disconnections. This of course just means that my Wifi Router is out of my laptop's range. The thing is this disconnection problem only surfaced after I swapped out my laptop's HDD for an SSD. Before, I had literally zero problems in this manner.

My Wifi connection was stable even when I was a few rooms away from my router. Now I have to stay in the same room as it and that is not that great since it's really uncomfortable sitting near the Wifi Router because of where the router is located. So I am looking for a permanent fix to this problem. I have already posted about this before on this website and gotten responses. But now that I know what the problem is better I am reposting about it. Is the problem a faulty wireless adapter or can I fix this problem myself without replacing my adapter? Some kind of effect the SSD may be having on my laptop maybe?

Thank you so much for your time. Really apologize for any inconvenience my posts may be causing and I hope you let me know if you know of any solution to this problem.

PS: I would like to clarify that the amount of time the Wifi connection stays on before disconnecting vastly varies. It may stay on for hours sometimes and mere seconds other times.

    :)
