Windows 10: Wireless display connection failure

Equipment: Dell XPS 9510, drivers up to date brand new last week, Win 11, up to date, Samsung QN90AA: I select cast, the TV shows up in the list, I select the Samsung TV and it connects. Everything works, display and audio. I disconnect and everything is good. Next time I try, the connection fails. If I go to Settings -->Bluetooth & devices and remove either the Samsung QN90AA Wireless displays & docks or the Samsung QN90AA Audio entry, then try to cast again, all is fine, but this repeats. The wireless display connection works fine anytime, all the time using WIN 10 Pro or

Windows Wireless Display Adapter-not connecting anymore

Hello Phillip,

Did you notice any changes on your PC prior to the issue? I suggest that you follow the steps outlined in this support article:
Troubleshooting Wireless Display Adapters.

Since updating drivers did not work, in addition, you can try to reset the Wireless Adapter.

1. On the adapter, press and hold the reset button for 10 seconds.
2. When the message " Ready to connect "shows, open the
   Action Center.
3. Select Connect, and in the list of displays, select
   Microsoft Wireless Display Adapter.

2. What is the model of the TV?
   

This issue can occur if there is pending firmware update or the issue with the drivers. I would suggest you to follow the below steps and let us know about the results:
