Windows 10: Wireless display fails to connect to my Samsung TV

I click on my TV in Settings/Connect to a Wireless Display.

My TV displays the message "Connecting to your PC"

My laptop displays the message "Connecting to your Device"


The laptop screen goes off.

The TV screen goes black (like it is trying to connect).


The laptop & TV go back to how they were before (i.e. they do not connect).

Connect to a wireless display (Samsung TV)

Hi,

My windows 10 recently received the latest windows updates and exactly after that I am not longer able to connect my ISUS Laptop to my wireless Samsung TV.

Before updates I just clicked on Display Settings/Multiple Displays and Connect to a wireless display and all was done after a almost one second I was connected without any issues but now when I click on Connect to a wireless display it founds my Samsung
TV and starts the screen mirroring and then after a few seconds it says : Can not connect ...

Anyone? any tips?

Any ideas how to fix it? Can you revert the updates or can you rerun the update on just Connect to a wireless display?

I have tried everything without success.

Connect to wireless display - laptop with windows 10 does not detect TV

Hello all,

I am trying to connect my HP Pavilion 17 Notebook to my Samsung smart TV. I used to have no problem doing this then two days ago it won't connect, does not see the TV listed in connect to wireless displays. The tv is detected by my phone and also works with
smart view but cannot see it with connecting to the wireless display.

I am at wits end about what to do!
