Discus and support wireless issues in Windows 10 Drivers and Hardware to solve the problem; I have just received a HP P2-1334 desktop from my parents - no longer needed and Im not able to connect to WIFI, wireless, I have to use a Ethernet...     I have just received a HP P2-1334 desktop from my parents - no longer needed and Im not able to connect to WIFI, wireless, I have to use a Ethernet cable. Is there a way to install an adapter to connect wireless?

    Yeah, thats not a solution she is interested in......I've suggested that course of action. Thanks though.

    Just to clarify, I feel that there MUST be a step, or series of steps to turn off JUST the wireless notification sound. Thats what Im driving @ here.

    Wireless network issue


    Right click start button(far left in task bar), go to Device manager, expand Network Adapters, right click Wi-Fi select Properties and find the version of your driver in Drivers tab.

    That's what the auto setting will do since you're over the 1333 mark it jumps to the next step which isn't listed or officially supported I assume by that ram.

    At this point though I would suggest dropping the multi one step or .5 so that we can get something stable and possibly take the heat issue out of the picture for now.
