  1. Wireless mouse detected but not working

My wireless mouse suddenly stopped working and I can't get it working again. I have been using a wireless mouse for years but today it just suddenly stopped working while I was playing a game. Let's get some things out of the way first.

The mouse is fine, it doesn't need new batteries. I have tried a second mouse and the same problem is there.

The USB ports is fine and other devices work just fine when being plugged into them.

It is not the drivers, I have uninstalled and reinstalled them.

In the device manager the mouse is enabled and states it is working properly

I have restored my system back to a date everything worked fine but the problem persists

    I am using windows 10

I have tried unplugging the dongle and removing the battery for a period of time and then putting them back in and nothing changed.

The dongle is properly connected and the connect button has been pressed on the mouse to make sure it is synced.

Since none of the regular solutions fixed the problem is there anything else that can be done or other places I can look?

    :)

Wireless mouse "driver is unavailable" issues

    Hi,

The error Driver is unavailable means that there is no available driver installed for your mouse that’s why it is not working. We suggest that you check the mouse driver from the device manager. Follow the steps below:

    • Open Device Manager.
    • Look for Mice and other pointing devices and click it to expand.
    • Check if there is a driver for the wireless mouse.

If there is none, we suggest that you visit the manufacturer’s website of the mouse and download then install the latest mouse driver compatible to Windows 10.

Get back to us if you need further assistance.
