Windows 10: wireless mouse

my logitech wireless mouse began acting up several months ago, it would not respond to the left click function until after several tries. I then bought another cheaper one with keyboard combo to see if this will fix it but it did not. It worked fine for several years up until that point. So now I am stuck with having to left click two or three or four times before it registers. I am running windows 10 pro with 16 gb of ram on a Dell xps desktop with intel core i7-3770 processor. It is about 8 years old though.

• Have you tried using using your wireless mouse on other computer and checked if the issue persists?
• Have you tried updating your wireless mouse driver?

• Type troubleshoot in the search box and press Enter.
• Select Hardware and Devices, then click
  Run the troubleshooter.

Wireless mouse "driver is unavailable" issues

The error Driver is unavailable means that there is no available driver installed for your mouse that’s why it is not working. We suggest that you check the mouse driver from the device manager. Follow the steps below:

• Open Device Manager.
• Look for Mice and other pointing devices and click it to expand.
• Check if there is a driver for the wireless mouse.

If there is none, we suggest that you visit the manufacturer’s website of the mouse and download then install the latest mouse driver compatible to Windows 10.

Bluetooth adding wireless mouse

• Followed advice from Windows chat on how to add a device to Aspire laptop (in this case a wireless mouse) through Bluetooth. When I get to screen to select a device the Logitech wireless mouse isn't on the list. Any suggestions of what to do next please?
