  1. Wireless Network Adapter Issue

    Hi,

I just want to follow up on the thread posted by RupertGThompson. I am also experiencing the same problem with my ASUS X441U laptop. I also tried everything, from resetting, updating the driver, and even system restore. I also followed the advice from Gerard Qui about uninstalling and reinstalling the device. It still shows the same problem. The wifi will work for a few minutes or a few hours then disappear completely. Checking back on the device manager I still get a Code 10.

I have the same adapter (Realtek 8821AE). What will I do with this problem? I don't know if uninstalling and reinstalling the device all the time will really solve the problem. Thanks!

    :)

Right click start button(far left in task bar), go to Device manager, expand Network Adapters, right click Wi-Fi select Properties and find the version of your driver in Drivers tab.

    Issues with Wireless Network Adapter

    Thank you Greg,

I have tried the methods you listed. I have updated my system from 1703 to 1709, although with no effect on the issue unfortunately. Also I forgot to state that the Wireless Network Adapter does not show up on device manager though these issues. Concluding
from my troubleshooting I do not believe there is a problem with the Windows 10 system. Although I will follow the rest of the steps you have provided with the system. Finally, thank you very much for helping!
