    Wireless printer won't print


    I have a HP Officejet Pro 6975 printer connected wirelessly. My wife and I both have our own laptops both running Windows 10. Since the HP printer would only use HP in cartridges and not accept generic ink cartridges, I tried to follow internet suggestions on how to change settings and get around the problem. None of them worked so I bit the bullet and installed HP cartridges.Now, however, the HP doesn't print documents coming from either laptop. The HP menu screen shows a question mark ? but not the usual home screen and I can't clear it. The HP printer copies, scan, faxes, and all the

    What OS are you on?

    I have a wireless net with printing OK on XP. You'll need to go to Add printer on the 'printers and faxes' option of the start menu. Then find the printer, just use the pc it's directly connected to to give it a simple name, I used 'printer' and then you should be able to just specify the path. eg \\computername\printername
    where the computer name is the name of the directly connected pc.
    Also make sure that the directly connected computer is turned on when printing!

    Unless you don't have a pc directly connected and are using a print server, in which case I have no experience.

    Setting up wireless printing.

    Hi all

    I have a lexmark printer that works fine when plugged in using USB, and I also have a wireless router that supports a onboard print server.

    I cant seem to get the printer to work from the router? I have installed the correct drivers, but it just wont resolve.

    Any suggestions?
