When ever Windows 9 does come out I just hope they get it "right". I know that there is no chance that they'll please everyone but I for one hope that they take the thoughts of the users in consideration when developing 9.

  3. more apps

It's down to developers to decide which platforms they support but Nokia has been working hard to bring more developers and apps to their Windows Phone and Asha operating systems.

Apps for windows phone are continuing to grow at a rapid rate so as the year goes on the app situation will improve.

If you are talking about Nokia's Symbian based belle devices then unfortunately the availability of new apps and games will greatly reduce as the operating system reaches it's end. Developers aren't generally interesting in releasing apps for platforms that
    have an end date.

Late 2015, for release of Windows Nine, would be well within the expected OS release cycle that has been in place for many many years.

we need to remember that XP's longevity was not the norm, but a result of a massive change of development direction during the coding of it's replacement.

It matters not. The anti Microsoft brigade will take it apart, whatever its worth.
