Windows 10: Without my consent.

I scheduled the latest Windows Update for sometime next week. I woke up this morning with my computer in the middle of the update. I had to access some files for work but couldn't. Windows Update acted without my consent. I took the time to verify twice that the scheduled date for rebooting was next week. I guess your O.S. doesn't respond very well to users command. I hate Windows Update.

Remove consent for a child account??

I have a similar issue. When I go to remove consent, 2 of my children are not even on the list to remove consent.

Updates coming April 2nd to user consent screen for App Devs

Howdy folks,

Today’s blog post is aimed at developers who build and manage apps that work with Azure AD and the Microsoft account service.

I’m excited to share the news that April 2nd we’ll turn on a nice set of improvements in the user consent experience to help your users know that they can trust your application. Beginning that day, the user consent experience for Azure AD and Microsoft accounts will include links to the application’s own terms of use and privacy statement.

If you have apps registered to use Azure AD or Microsoft accounts in market today, we recommend you configure the terms of service and privacy statement for the app before April 2. If your app does not have these configured, the user consent experience for your app will show an alert. That alert could discourage users from consenting to your app.

Once you have the documents ready, it should take you less than 5 minutes to add them to your app. Just follow these step-by-step instructions:

If you registered your app in the Azure Portal:

Sign in to the Azure Portal.

Navigate to the App Registrations section and select your app.

Open the Properties section of the app.

Fill out the Terms of Service URL and Privacy Statement URL fields.

Save your changes.

If you registered your app in the Application Registration Portal:

Sign in to the Application Registration Portal.

Select your app and scroll to the Profile section.

Fill out the Terms of Service URL and Privacy Statement URL fields.

Save your changes.

While the changes to the consent screen will light up on April 2nd, you can make the changes to your apps now. We recommend you give yourself enough time to produce the right documentation before the change takes place. We want to make sure you continue onboarding users with the right level of professionalism and trust!

GDPR: Log cookie consent?

Hello, I'm in doubt about the GDPR requirement to log cookie consent.

Given a normal webpage (no login) how to keep track who consents with cookies and who withdraws it? I believe you will only have the IP to log? But in turn, the IP is personal data... how should this be done?
