Windows 10: Without Pushing from WSUS, Users are getting alert in Client PC Window10

We have created GPO for Client PCs. for WSUS

We have created GPO for Domain PCs. like Windows Updates should push through WSUS. not standalone PCs.

We don;t know how it is appearing with KB4532693 and KB4532691 updates in each user? without approving from WSUS.

• do we have any known issues?
• Let me know the list of latest KBXX to be approved from WSUS

WSUS clients are not able to get an updates. WSUS is reporting different version of client.

Hello guys,

We have issues across our company that 1709 users with Windows 10 are not getting updates from our WSUS server (2012 R2).

We tried known hot fixes such as deleting SoftwareDistribution folder, forcing service to stop and run again, manually find updates, restarting clients, restarting WSUS, downloading all avaiable updates
for WSUS, run diag tool downloaded from Microsoft on clients but nothing helps.

We are also tried to run new 2016 WSUS server but situation did not changed. I think maybe problem is in client version 1709?

Windows 10 1709 (16299.309) (WSUS is reporting 10.0.16299.248)

Windows 2016 (14393.2125)

We have around 150 clients with this issue.

Issues:

1. WSUS server is reporting that clients need updates but clients are not getting any.

2. Some clients are not reporting back but they are reachable. (F.E. Last report 25.2.2018)

3. When we are connected remotely to client PC and run WU manually, WU is telling us that PC has all needed updates and none are available.

4. We can see different version in WSUS than client's version really is (agent version - maybe this is the issue?)

I hope my description is enough, I saw many forums / users / companies are dealing with same issue but there is not a fix for this yet and also I did not saw a thread on Microsoft about this exact problem
yet. I am already googling this for 3 days...

Push update clients within specific IP ranges through WSUS

We have a large number of users that frequently travel. When ever these users connect through VPN our WSUS will start pushing updates to them, which results in over use of our bandwidth and network slowdowns. Users that are connected through VPN get IP's
from a different IP range than users in the office.

Is it possible to set WSUS to only push updates to users within a specific IP range.

WSUS client getting update from Microsoft instead of WSUS server

Hi Team,

I configured WSUS server in my lab and many client machine connected to WSUS server. But client getting update from Microsoft instead of WSUS server.

I configured local gpo policy for each wsus client machine in which I provided wsus address/url. Please let me know the root cause of this problem.

For Example-

1100 SLS Making request with URL HTTPS://sls.update.microsoft.com/SLS/{3DA21691-E39D-4DA6-8A4B-B43877BCB1B7}/x64/10.0.16299.0/0?CH=799&L=en-US&P=&PT=0x30&WUA=10.0.16299.98&MK=ASUS&MD=All+Series

I copied this url from windowsupdate.log file.
