Windows 10: Wof.sys, critical driver missing or corrupt

What should i do? wof.sys showing 0 bytes, when i loggedin through different os

Critical Structure Corruption Windows 10

I keep getting this error "Critical Structure Corruption" and can't seem to fix it.

It happens while I am busy on my laptop. Here are some of the steps I have tried so far to resolve this with no success.

1. Ran Windows Memory Diagnostic = no problems so RAM looks good.
   
2. Check The CPU with Intel-Processor-Diagnostic-Tool = PASS all
   
3. Drivers update, I used driver booster and did need to update 18 drivers but was able to update with no issues.
   
4. Update software and drivers, well it was suggested that I update BlueStacks but the update failed, bluestacks mentioned that it might be an issue so as I do not use the tool I uninstalled the software altogether.
   
5. Updated Windows, this I do regularly and automatically so no big updates were missed.
   
6. Defragged the machine - system is optimized
   
7. Ran anti-virus check and all's good
   
8. Ran CCleaner
   

Now I might mention I'm not a super user, but I'm able to follow suggestions quite well.

Any help will be appreciated.

1. Reset Windows update components and clean up the Windows update cache.

Enter: cmd in Windows Search and open the Command Prompt (admin) > Type in the commands below and hit Enter key after each line.

net stop wuauserv

net stop bits

ren C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution SoftwareDistribution.old

net start wuauserv

net start bits

> After that, restart your device and try the installation again.

2. Perform an in-place upgrade of your Windows 11 (Unlike reinstallation or reset of the system, this repair process will not affect your data or programs. And won't waste a lot of time).

• Go to the Download Windows 11 (microsoft.com) to download the Windows 11 Media Creation Tool.
  

• After the downloading process ends completely, double-click the downloaded .exe file to open the tool. > Click Yes > Accept > Select the Upgrade this PC Now option > Next > Click Change what to keep > Choose to keep your personal files and apps or start fresh. > Your computer will restart several times. > After that, log in to Windows 11 and make the needed settings.
  

Note:

1. Leave 20-25G space on your system disk to perform this.
   
2. It is recommended to back your files up to avoid unnecessary data loss before performing this.

BOSD Critical Structure Corruption error




Warning Programs that claim to update your drivers install either the wrong or corrupted drivers.
If you have installed any driver with DriverRestore, please remove them as it may cause trouble.

Remove ASUS software, some are known for causing bluescreens.

1. Visit downloadcenter.intel.com for driver updates for the chipset and Intel Rapid Storage Technology.
2. Visit Driver Reference Table - RTKVHD64.sys for audio driver updates
3. Visit SABERTOOTH Z97 MARK 1 | Motherboards | ASUS Global
   
4. for sata driver updates
5. Visit Logitech Support + Downloads to update the Logitech drivers:

• Driver Reference Table - lvuvc64.sys
• Driver Reference Table - lvrs64.sys
• Driver Reference Table - LGBusEnum.sys
• Driver Reference Table - LGVirHid.sys

That should rule out outdated drivers at least
