    windows 10 reserve icon missing

    hello. my computer no longer shows the windows 10 icon on the day I'm supposed to update it(29 July). i had earlier "forced" the reservation process which successfully showed the win10 icon. i woke up this morning very happy ready to upgrade my PC to win
    10, only to loose the icon after manually installing the updates and restarting my PC. has someone else experienced the same problem or its me alone. will the windows 10 still upgrade since i had already reserved it. someone help. thanks

    "$... something BT$" folder on C: disk, place where MS puts files ready to upgrade from version to version. Have to enable viewing of hidden and system files to see it.

    Nothing just the Reserved Copy.. it is version 10240

    snagged the esd from sources folder and created an ISO

    also created an ISO from the Windows-bt folder

    Hi there

    can you get the FULL build number -- the easy way rather than have to use the registry on an installed version is just to post the name (full name) of the ISO file created from your ESD.

    The current "delta" seems to be 10393 so it would be interesting to see if your build 10240 has a later delta than that.

    I have it to, only 140mb. No ESD file. No E-mail notification.

    If you want to make an ISO image of the actual Upgrade for your PC

    Download and extract the correct Oscdimg .zip and copy the contents (files) into the Windows\System32 folder

    And then run this from command prompt (admin)

    Code: Oscdimg -bootdata:2#p0,e,bEtfsboot.com#pEF,e,bEfisys.bin -h -m -o -u1 -udfver102 "C:\$Windows.~BT" C:\PC_Upgrade.iso[/quote] You will find the PC_Upgrade.iso on C:\
